Zachary MacDonald Memorial Scholarship
Hampstead Youth Lacrosse
This scholarship has been founded by the Hampstead Youth Lacrosse organization to honor the memory of Zachary MacDonald. On August 15th 2009, Zachary was tragically killed in a dirt bike accident while vacationing with his family. Zachary was the youngest of four and the only son to Ann Marie and Paul MacDonald. He would have been a 6th grader at the Hampstead Middle School. He was a member of the HMS ski club, HASB minor league baseball and Hampstead Lightning Lacrosse. Even at such a young age, Zachary had a passion for life. Thanks to the outpouring in our community, Zachary’s memory lives on. This scholarship helps to preserve for the MacDonald Family their connection with Zachary. It gives them courage for the long haul and builds their faith.
